After exploring the life and magic of water in the landscape, it's difficult to contemplate a garden without some kind of fountain or pool. This has become the single most pervasive element in Michael Glassman's work, for its variations are unlimited and its effect is timeless. TIP- The Machines required to operate all the systems of a swimming pool can take up a lot of space. They also make noise and should not be placed close to windows or bedroom walls. New pools offer you the opportunity to place the equipment where it is not a visual or noisy nuisance.
